Betsy Miller is an accomplished artist and instructor with over 30 years of diversified commercial and fine art experience. Betsy specializes in pastels, pottery and contemporary mixed media collages. Her passion for creative diversification is enhanced by extensive travel throughout South America and Europe. Betsy has exhibited and instructed both nationally and internationally since graduating from Lasell Junior College with an associate degree in Fine Art. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Wright State University. With dedication to her students, she continues to impact and contribute her talents to the local schools and communities.

Ms. Miller is the owner and operator of Colors of the heart studio located in Friendswood, Tx. From her studio she pursues her passion to create and teach. As a Houstonian resident since 1989, Betsy has enriched and enhanced the ability of students to express themselves as artists by teaching them the many facets of design in art. She embraces a strong commitment to teaching the importance of the arts and self-expression —especially in children. Each year she teaches over 500 students of all ages in pastel and clay media.
